holy shit, fenoxo is awesome

seriously, he's like the colbert bump of fetish porn games.  i've gotten about as many hits in the past two days as i have in the rest of the blog's existence.  anyway, bug reports.  i've gotten a lot more since people have actually started looking at the game, so here's a quick guide on what i need to fix a bug:

1. what button you push
2. what stops working
3. what is currently going on in game when it stopped working (where you are, who/what you're talking to/looking at, what/if you typed anything, etc)

i'm not entirely sure the world is fully functional yet, so exploring in some locations (if they haven't been properly loaded with events) might cause a crash.  i'm currently busy writing a scene for peeping on the elf at the mouth of rygal river (she's in the 4.2 build, albeit nonfunctional), going through masturbation, getting caught, and being forcefully jerked off at sword point by the sexy elf lady...  although that last bit is dependent on a few other things at the moment, some of which won't be attainable without manually editing your player's save file until i add items that actually change your stats.

i have tomorrow off, so hopefully she'll be finished by tomorrow, and i can make sure that everything works for a release either at the end of the day, or on sunday.

also, judging from the poll so far, the big draws for people are:
-mythic creatures
-lesbians
-inhuman creatures (tentacles)
-yiffing
-light bondage

seems people are looking for a sort of 'monster girl' theme, or possibly 'monster girl-on-girl'.  i think i could live with that.  of course, there's going to be a bit of everything added eventually (i've said before that it's a fetish that does nothing for me so i don't know how well i could depict it, but for the sake of inclusiveness  i would like to include some vore, macro/micro, and possibly bimbofication), but i have an idea of what to put in first.

  1. Will you be writing the scenes completely by yourself? What I'm worried about is that you're going to gear the game more towards whatever wins the poll, or accept user submissions that will steer the game towards most of the scenes being for those fetishes.
    For example, flexible survival has the option to turn off furry encounters, but once you do you're left with about 1 or 2 encounters for the entire game.

    1. well, the cities are a good way to explain this.

      if you go to the city of doren and explore, you'll encounter a group of guardsmen patrolling the walls. if you have anthros turned on, they'll be imperials (horse anthros). if you have it turned off, they'll be giantkin.

      i want most npc's to have a set of relatively tame, vanilla sex scenes available. whether or not they're willing to break out the bondage gear depends on your preferences.

      as far as writing everything myself, i'd be more than glad to take submissions as long as people understand that they need to give up having the final say on a character if it's going into the game. i'll gladly listen to ideas, and if i do use anything i'll try my best to keep it faithful to the original intent, but in the end i do have to keep the ability to make it fit into the overall game.

      as an example for this, if you want to write an encounter with a guy that loves getting banged in the ass by herms but is still totally straight, that's fine, but he might end up with some m/f or m/m scenes as well, to keep him from just appealing to one particular fetish and nothing else.

  2. What are you using to make this? The bug reports are all on the previous post, but I just thought that the lockups might have somehting to do with a compatibility issue.

  3. So i've been wondering about something for a while now...
    How long are you aiming to make the sex scenes?
    Obviously it's a porngame so i assume they're going to be something like CoC or maybe even cursed in length.
    I'm also curious about cities and towns.
    Will there just be big cities in walls and such, or will there also be remote hamlets and farmer communities?

    I look forward to more content and really hope this game is a success!

'how long' depends on the sex scene. there are probably going to be some relatively short ones (hiring a prostitute that just wants to get things over with and move on), possibly some longer ones (particularly at the apex of a relationship with an npc; eg, if you've been adventuring with them for some time, just finished a big life-threatening adventure together, and unwind back at camp), and some that get extended across multiple separate events (which is sort of necessary for things like corruption and orgasm denial).

      right now i'm planning on two big cities and a few smaller ones. they're going to range from a fortress carved into the side of a mountain to a collection of thatched huts along a beach.

  4. I would be happy with some Bimbofication, especially if it came with some general feminization and transformation. As long as it applies to male characters too you'll be drawing the TG market.

    1. bimbofication is one of those fetishes that i don't quite get. i'll try to make the game as open to it as possible (there'll be ways to get bigger tits, change to a woman, get blonde hair, etc), but make no promises.

      if you'd like, you could help me by describing what about it you find appealing.

  5. Just downloaded the game and have been poking around. Honestly I am a little lost, but I guess that is to be expected when the game is not really even in a playable release yet. So many options and stats, I am sure once this starts to progress it will be an awsome game. So far I have experianced one crash. I came across some bull woman doing her laundry at the river's edge. She ignored me and went back to her work. When I clicked to explore again the game went non-responsive. I was playing a slime girl if that is relivant. I would love to get involved in helping make the game if I could, though I know nothing of coding I thing I would enjoy creating NPCs and encounters. Locations and events. And am more than willing to add as many options as your system seems to allow. But I would rather do sutch through an E-Mail or chat program as opposed to open posts on Blogspot if that is possable.     1. i want to put up a guide to creating events eventually, but that will have to wait until the game is 'complete' from a features standpoint. i don't want to create confusion by providing numerous conflicting api's, removing or adding functionality while people are working on submissions, etc.
