-saving and loading characters works now
-increased the number of save slots to 6
-general navigation works now
-size of explorable continent increased to about 40 areas
-a large number of events are still one sentence 'stubs' with no real content

feedback, comments, suggestions, requests, or thoughts on which events i should fill out first are all welcome.

now that i'm going over my 'to do' list i'm realizing that i (sort of accidentally) knocked off three of the items on my list - persistent world data is in, and the existing system can easily handle cities and dialogue - which means that there's only three more features that need to be added before i can start focusing on content: combat, inventory, and the sex scene generation.  i want to include a party interface to allow you to take companions with you, but that can be added after.

combat is next, for the 0.5.0 release.

  1. I'm pleased to announce that this version displays all races for me. However, the buttons stop working after a single click on any action button. The exceptions are the Explore button, and the Nav button and its sub-buttons.

    Slot 3 in the load menu isn't in line with the other slots.

    As for suggestions, adding a small text box on the buttons upon mouse hover could be nice and helpful - though hardly necessary.

  2. most of the buttons don't work yet, but the save and load buttons should be working too. are they not?

    1. Saving and loading does work, now that I tried. However, when saving, both Slot 1 AND Slot 3 are not lined like the rest of the slots.

      And what comes to the button problem, I mean they lock up completely. For example, clicking the Cha button makes the rest of the buttons unusable, including the Exit button in Cha's sub.

    2. that's somewhat more significant, but easily fixed, since i know exactly what the problem is. i should have a bugfix for that out later tonight, 9pm est at the latest.
